Well, I've been wanting to try to paint hair in gimp for some time now. A lot of the time I would open up gimp, start drawing, and see that it looked like something you would see in a south park episode and give up. But tonight, I really wanted to start and finish it. So, I did. It took a while, but this is my finished product. What do you guys think? Any tips?
It is all hand painted, so it might look a little dodgy.

Evie honestly it's kind of hard to tell. The pic is very light and we only have the one view. Maybe darken the pic a bit. But I do like the style!

i agree with cece...i do like what i can see and you have done a fantastic job as always....seriously need to do a tut on the different things you can do with gimp evie ......please..lol.....try her on a darker background even to make her pop out more....

I probably did lighten it a tad too much, I'm working on more though, hopefully I'll get good enough to actually do a tutorial on it. I do like making tutorials afterall

I downloaded a top of yours Evie that I can't believe I missed!! It's a sweater actually and I just LOVE the texture!!! How do I keep missing stuff when I check your blog on a regular!!
