There's a rumour going around on the officials that they are going to release a SEASONS EP in November...two months after Supernatural!! *crosses fingers, toes, eyes, legs, arms....uh...whatever else that can be crossed...*

People on the officials are pretty optimistic, so I'm trying to keep hope alive in my mind. I would totally be crushed if it weren't real, though.

Even if this is a hoax I think that seasons will be the next expansion. It makes sense with all the hints and spoilers that have been dropped lately. I actually expected this recent expansion to be seasons but since I am a supernatural fan I won't be disappointed (hopefully) with this one.

I don't know...I tend to believe more of what I can see than what I can hear.

I don't know if it's true but it would be nice!... Seasons was one of my favorite EPs for The Sims 2

realy ? ? ? i am already soooo exited for the supernaturals i just love werewolves, zombies, vampires witches i am a fan but seasons whas my favourite in sims2 i remember the leaves falling in fall and when your sim baked cookies with christmas the christman came for a visit and in summer time when sims got sooo much red face when too much sun exposure

If it is i have heard seasons is the last EP to be for sims 3...so if so then i take it this will be the last year for them.

I hope it won't be the last...there is still so much they can do with the sims 3.

Omg I'm both excited and crushed about this...Excited because I want it and crushed because this might be the end of the sims series until the sims 4. It seems seven to eight expansions is their usual limit....but then again there were seven with the sims 1 and eight with the sims 2. Maybe they'll do nine with the sims 3??

That's what I was thinking. Although, there's been speculation that because there's lots of room on the bottom of the launcher, there might be more...

I hope they add more! There is still so many different things they can do! They should do an "open for business" theme and add something new in. Some people say the ambitions was open for business but it's just not the same...

I really don't think they'll allow for that much downtime between the last expansion and the new Sims 4 series. EA and The Sims franchise is huge, and there's very likely already a team working on Sims 4 , so they wouldn't have to halt Sims 3 production in its favor.

This could be purely optimism (I don't want the game to end its run just yet! )- but EA's general perspective towards maximizing profit combined with the recent trend of other game developers pushing DLC/expansions up the butt makes me think otherwise.

All that aside, SEASONS! :D I need to save up.
