I was just gonna make a thread about this....if you have laggy gameplay, CAS loading slowly, or you saved games loading slowly and you have ALOT of CC this is what you can do.

Make sure you download and run a scan of Dephys dashboard to remove any sims 2 files that have snuck in there.

And the follow this guide to condense your CC
http://livingsims.nl/forum/showthread.php?tid=733
It also suggests that you convert all simspack files into packages, you dopn't HAVE to do this, but its handy if you tend to have launcher problems.
Some files don't seem to like being condensed so it can be a slow process getting it all done the first time around, working out what to condense and what not to

Why does this work?
The game finds it easier to open and read a few larger files (I have 40 larger files now condensed from 400 packages) that to read hundreds of smaller files. This will help or even solve issues like laggy gameplay, slow CAS loading, slow game loading, and some issues of crashing in build/buy modes.
